Bath Mozartfest 2017

Last year’s Bath Mozartfest attracted the best reviews in its 26 year history.

"A model of serious programming, top international performers, giving concerts in glorious buildings” Fiona Maddocks (The Observer.)

The highlight of this year’s festival promises to be a performance of the Mass in C minor in Bath Abbey by La Nuova Musica - one of the most exciting ensembles on the British early music scene.

Over the festival’s nine days, you will see many familiar faces including the Takacs Quartet, the Nash Ensemble, the English Chamber Orchestra, Imogen Cooper, Sir András Schiff, as well as exceptional newcomers the Chiarosuro Quartet, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, resident at the BBC Proms, and a showcase concert featuring BBC New Generation Artists.

Bath Mozartfest is always oversubscribed and early booking is essential. Bath Mozartfest Society members receive Priority Booking, so please register online if you would like to take advantage of this benefit.

We look forward to seeing you all in November.
